As a follow-up to his August 19th town hall in Superior, Arizona with Senator McCain, Interior Secretary Ken Salazar will be sending his top appointees, Assistant Secretary for Indian Affairs Larry EchoHawk and Assistant Secretary for Lands and Minerals Management Bob Abbey, to Arizona to help facilitate dialogue on the Resolution Copper Mine proposal.

"I am pleased that Secretary Salazar has asked Assistant Secretary EchoHawk and Assistant Secretary Abbey to pursue further dialogue with various stakeholders on the Resolution Copper Mine proposal," said Senator John McCain. "I appreciate his willingness to engage parties on all sides of the Mine project, including those who so far have been unwilling to work constructively with the Arizona delegation."
